Overview

The ATC SCM 20SL is the passive version of ATC's professional SCM 20ASL active speaker and employs many of the same engineering principles found in ATC's larger systems. The 150mm "Super Linear" mid/bass driver with 75mm integral soft dome, accounts for the SCM 20SL's ability to convey an extremely detailed stereo image from a wide range of listening positions.

ATC developed the Super Linear Magnet System to reduce eddy current distortion, the one remaining significant source of distortion in moving coil drive units. The result is a sound of exceptional clarity and openness, conveying every nuance of the performance and accurately portraying the recorded audio.
